Joe Davis Political Candidate for Monroe County Clerk has signage in the street parking area advertising his campaign. At night there are bright blinding lights that light up his political campaign signs.
the section of painted bike lane on washington between 3rd and 2nd St's seems to have been removed. Maybe it just faded slowly and I'm just noticing it? Not that the painted line does anything anyway, but I'm just curious if something new is happening here. thanks!

Bike lanes on N. Smith Rd.need to be swept. The south bound lane from the Short Stop to Grandview Is particularly bad - full of yard waste, road debris, small bits of gravel, etc. Near the top of the hill, where the 14 foot sign is, there is a bush growing over the lane and face-slapping vegetation hanging down over the lane. I’m wondering if there is any regular schedule for sweeping bike lanes? At best, it seems this one gets swept about once a year. Sweeping the hill every couple of months wouldn’t be too often. The bike lane is narrower than recommended width to begin with. It gets really dangerous when we have to ride near the white lane (or sometimes in the car lane). The painted lines make drivers believe everything is ok as long as they stay between their lines and they don’t realize how closely they are passing vulnerable bicyclists. I’m sorry I don’t have pictures of the bike lane. But it should be easy to see what I’m writing about, especially if you are on a bicycle.
New, ugly high 'popsicle' fence. Should that not be lower than 4 ft to be in compliance with the UDO?
This is in reference to our neighbors which I think is 1857 E Cheyanne Ln. What is the proper way to request consideration for a new ordinance? Our neighbors installed a pool on the west side of their property and placed the pool pump and pool heater on the east side of the property. The problem is we now have noise in our yard, on our deck, and in our house when the pool heater is active. The heater is louder than the standard pump and the rumble is unfortunately a frequency that penetrates walls. I think it is unrealistic to have to hear the low rumble of the equipment, particularly inside our house, but it is also frustrating that the deck and yard are also affected. Our primary living space and windows are on the south side which puts us in close proximity to the equipment. The other night when it was cool we wanted to open our windows, but the pool heater was on, so we didn't. I think Bloomington needs an ordinance to require pool equipment be enclosed under certain conditions, particularly in neighborhoods where lot sizes are smaller and house density is higher. The pool heater will likely be active from April through October, though I'm hopeful it will run less as the temperatures increase. Still, situations like these shouldn't impose on neighbors. Last weekend, it ran most of the time throughout the afternoon and into the early evening hours, but it comes on whenever it determines the pool temperature has dropped.
Has 3 vehicles at a time on his front yard. Has been like this for a few months. Thought he would get them sorted elsewhere and hasn’t. He does have a garage to fit 2 car and a driveway to fit 2.
