Planning staff discussed the City's signage standards, including that feather flags are a prohibited sign type, with Tropical Smoothie Cafe and Planet Fitness representatives. Planning staff observed prohibited feather flag signage and will communicate with the businesses regarding their signage. The yard signs appeared to be located in County and State right-of-way, though, where the City does not have jurisdiction. Please report the signage located in their rights-of-way to the County and Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT).
