The post office on S. Walnut St. has no disabled accessible sidewalk or way to get into the building from the sidewalk on Walnut Street. You have to walk in the road in the parking lot to get to the door of the post office because there’s no sidewalk connecting the sidewalk on Walnut Street to the front door of the building. I got run into buy a car backing out of a parking spot today and I’m a blind person using a white cane for mobility.

The one section of sidewalk is below the other two adjoining sections creating difficulty for those with mobility problems as well as older people. It is hazardous for those with vision problems who might not be able to discern the sudden in drop.

Uneven walk to rised curb (tripping hazard, then yet another drops from curb to street, then three move tripping spots erosion of 3 level is street layers of asphalt. Thanks!

Stones from the wall along the sidewalk keep falling into the sidewalk. These are large stones and create a tripping hazard, especially for someone with impaired vision or during low light conditions. The landlord does nothing to address the problem which has been going on for a long time and is getting worse. Passers-by sometimes try to get the stones out of the way, but they keep falling back onto the sidewalk.

Snow is never cleared at this address, why do I as a parent have to act like the police. Children walk to school. This house is a repeat offender, so this is one more thing to do as a parent? The curb at the corner of Landmark and Arch Haven is very steep, about 3 inches of rise at an angle probably close to 70°. Landmark Ave has many medical facilities and this path is the one people would travel on between Adams and 3rd St where transit vehicles provide access. It should be smoothed out to provide a safer ramp for people with mobility devices and unsure footing.
