Stephen was asking about the city's response to Malibou house as he is a resident of the street on which one of their houses is located and expressed that he is already dealing with the effects of slummy properties, and this is making it much more difficult to deal with. He complained about noise, traffic, and the overall parking nightmare that has become of his culdesac.

The fifth dog at this address (over the amount allowed by ordinance) that purportedly does not bark was observed today on the rear deck of the house continuously barking from a few minutes before 2 pm until 2:15 pm. No other dogs were out. The dog looks like a border collie, black and white, medium size. Its mouth was going up and down continuously. Barks were heard continuously until somebody let the dog inside at 2:15.
An orange "Core&Main" tarp has been up between our property (1437 N Kinser Pike) and the Aspen Heights property for about 2 years. I spoke with Aspen Heights and they said it was the purview of the city. It doesn't seem to be doing anything productive anymore, as far as I can tell, but if it is, half of it has fallen down. It makes for extra yard work, mowing around it and weedwacking by it. If it can be taken down, that would be great. If it needs to stay up, may we politely request it be fixed where it has fallen.
One of Duke/Xfinity lineman trucks was doing work along E. Winslow Rd in Bloomington IN. The truck left many ruts in the setback grass that need repair. Also, cut cable pieces were left on the ground/sidewalk. Both of these issues need to be resolved. Thank you
As a result of AT&Ts recent fiber optics installation, there are two large sink wholes next to the sidewalk between my address and my neigbor's. I called Austin Voorheis who did the installation for AT&T, but he has not come to fill in the openings. Photo's attached. This is really dangerous.
This is in reference to our neighbors which I think is 1857 E Cheyanne Ln. What is the proper way to request consideration for a new ordinance? Our neighbors installed a pool on the west side of their property and placed the pool pump and pool heater on the east side of the property. The problem is we now have noise in our yard, on our deck, and in our house when the pool heater is active. The heater is louder than the standard pump and the rumble is unfortunately a frequency that penetrates walls. I think it is unrealistic to have to hear the low rumble of the equipment, particularly inside our house, but it is also frustrating that the deck and yard are also affected. Our primary living space and windows are on the south side which puts us in close proximity to the equipment. The other night when it was cool we wanted to open our windows, but the pool heater was on, so we didn't. I think Bloomington needs an ordinance to require pool equipment be enclosed under certain conditions, particularly in neighborhoods where lot sizes are smaller and house density is higher. The pool heater will likely be active from April through October, though I'm hopeful it will run less as the temperatures increase. Still, situations like these shouldn't impose on neighbors. Last weekend, it ran most of the time throughout the afternoon and into the early evening hours, but it comes on whenever it determines the pool temperature has dropped.
Did the Graduate hotel also reach an agreement with the church to the north across the street (first Christian church) for their liquor license, that church also being within 200 feet of the premises? (See case 208989)
Yard torn up where Comcast did some work a couple months ago. I tried to get Comcast to take care of this but got nothing from them - even after many calls and promises that someone would get back to me. On two seperate occasions I got case numbers. # ECM 0020878893 and ECM 0020232690 and was even told after one of them to keep my line open because I would be getting a call right back. No call came. I have written down much of what has happened during this quest if you want more info. In a storm a couple of months ago a tree fell and took out powerlines and pole on our property at 2403. But there are other lines down that must be ATT or Xfinity lines. I've called Xfinity and they have done nothing. I doubt the lines are dangerous, but I hope there is a way to compel them to deal with this issue (which also affects other neighbors whose properties the lines run through. FYI we purchased the 2403 property in order to renovate the existing structure. We are in process of designing the renovations, and cleaning out the derelict property.
