When the street light was installed a few weeks ago, the company working for Bloomington had to come back and cut into the boulevard and the street. They patch the street but left the hole in the boulevard. I don't know if they're done: if they are they should come back and fill in the hole. If not they should come back and rope it off. The hole appears to go under to street. There are residents walking and could step into the hole and get hurt, possibly sprain and ankle or fall. Please note this corner is also a pick site for students riding the bus.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Property at 402 E 1st Street Dear Bloomington Town Department, I am writing to formally report an ongoing issue at the property located at 402 E 1st Street. Early this morning (December 6), while cleaning up trash that had blown into my yard, I noticed excessive garbage left in their backyard. The bags are torn open, and the mess has begun attracting animals; just last week, while I was traveling, several neighbors reported seeing a coyote in the area. This property, which is a rental, has been a recurring source of disruption in our neighborhood. In addition to improper waste disposal, previous incidents have included: • Smoking cannabis openly in the backyard. • Loud parties continuing until 4:00 a.m. • Unauthorized backyard fires without proper safety measures like a firepit. • Failure to maintain the property, such as leaving fallen leaves uncollected. I kindly request the town to investigate these concerns and take appropriate action to address the situation, ensuring the safety and well-being of our community. Received a complaint from Julia Tobin at 4307 E. Bill Mallory Blvd regarding a 6" hole near the neighborhood mailboxes at the end of her driveway. It appears to be a location for fiber optics(?). She called AT&T but they said it was the city's issue. She's concerned that this hole could cause an injury. Who needs to be contacted to take care of this hole? Her ph# 812-345-3399. So I applied for a gun/concealed carry permit. I paid the fee, then got my fingerprints. They told me to go to a sheriff so I went to the sheriff's office at 301 N College Ave. They said I had to go to the office on 3rd street. I went there and the building was closed so I could not complete my application. What do I need to do from here?
