See case #201777. Did owner ever reply to letter from HAND? It has been almost a year, and nothing has been done. Wall along Lincoln is still in need of attention. Experience with property owner (Parker rentals) has been they will not do anything unless there is a fine involved.
Not sure is this is a HAND issue. The "Beverly" building has installed a *huge* sign on the SW corner of the building that is brightly illuminated all night long and is visible from as far as north of 10th Street. There is no reason for a sign that needs illumination. In fact, there is no reason for a sign at all, at least on the side of the building. It isn't a business that will have night-time hours, and it is in the middle of a generally residential area. Is there any way to regulate this kind of thing, or is the fact that IU is involved mean that the City has no jurisdiction over what they do? The building is already a lot bigger than was imagined, and now they are drawing even more attention to it with an inappropriate, vertical sign.
This dumpster took off has been here for 3-4 years. The owner is using it as a dump site for his construction projects on his other properties around town. It is an eyesore and it attracts rodents.

Dogs barking last night at 11:57 pm. This house is a nuisance.
Reported by BikeSmith (112 S College) a homeless shelter made out of cardboard was erected on their rear deck, between 113 S Gentry and 117 S Gentry, next to 119 S Gentry. Dangling wires across my yard, coming from the pole across the street. Nothing in house has been affected, but it appears some wires have come away from the house and are dangling in a knot about 4-5 ft off the ground, near my neighbor's drive/sidewalk in the corner of my front yard. This appears to have occurred overnight. There is also some kind of metal box stuck in a neighbor's tree. Have also contacted Comcast in case it's old wire from them.
On Sunday morning (12/21) five or six dogs ran out of the back door of 1432 Winfield Rd. and proceeded to run around the yard and bark from 9 am until 10:20 am. At 11 pm dogs were barking again.
Barking dogs last night (Sat. 12/20) in the back yard at 1432 Winfield Rd. Dogs barked from 9:16 to 10:05 pm. They were barking again at 11 pm. They were barking a lot in the late afternoon also. This house is a nuisance.
