I am reaching out to file a noise complaint about the address provided. They frequently have parties late into the evenings and blast music so loud it shakes windows of homes nearby. There are several families that live in this area too and it keeps everyone awake. We would all appreciate this being taken care of
We have people living in tents on CITY property on the southwest corner of Rogers and 11th St. We have over 10 female employees working for us at 611 W 11th Street. We would hate for any of them to have ANY issues with people living on CITY property. Please help these people to relocate to a place where they may receive the services Bloomington may provide. There are two billboards on this parcel N of our neighborhood entrance on N Walnut St to the W beyond the chiropractor’s office. It appears this parcel was once owned by Hoosier Outdoor Advertising so, I’m presuming that once Steve Ferguson obtained it and Parks and Rec is now the owner that both of these billboards can be taken out and until that might happen at least the one with the lights can have those deactived along with any service. It would be perfect if this area would then be able to gain native trees to add our Tree City USA canopy and Haskell Smith would be able to increase our diversity with new trees followed by native shrubs et al that will be most welcomed over any likely invasive bush honeysuckle et al along this main coordinator into our City and from the N into Cascades Park along the E side of Old State Rd 37 or Dixie Hwy. Thank you for letting me know if I can provide any additional information that might permit this prime cooridor becoming most appreciated and greatly improved with native trees and plants stepping up our Greenspace cooridors W and E along N Walnut Street. There is a round about on Summit Street and Cottage Grove. The roundabout is completely overgrown and is also covering up the drainage system. It's so high that when kids are riding their bikes and cars are coming around the corner, they almost get hit. It needs to be cut.
Kinser Flats 1610 north Kinser Pike residents are trespassing on 441 West Gourley Pike. Leaving trash, needles, excrement' clothes. When asked to leave, they often get combative. It is not even safe to walk outside D/T needles, human waste and belligerent people. They have also done damage to the building. they have attempted to break in, cracking windows and tearing apart air conditioner units.
This family constantly has vehicles parked in their front yard at 520 W. Duncan Drive. Makes the neighborhood look trashy.
There is a pole/light at this stop that has metal bands wrapped in two spots for a trash can to be attached. Although the trash can is not attached and sits beside the pole, that is not the problem. Today, one of the metal bands (which sticks out at the end of its seal point) sliced my leg open. Luckily I had a first aid kit, but that is dangerous.
The area on the north side of Sudbury Drive, between the last Millenium driveway and Arbor Ridge Way is not being maintained, mowed, etc. by the Millemium Apartment Management. I complained to Kenny Liford in the summer of 2024. He told me he gave them a warning and that they would be fined if they did not comply. To date, they have never mowed that area since that complaint. They used to maintain it until the past 2-3 years. According to the INDOT, this area is within the city limits. The area not being maintained is along the tree conservancy, which is owned by Millenium but governed by the city.
