Motor bikes on the playground, sidewalks, and basketball court
Motor bikes on the playground, sidewalks, and basketball court
Low hanging branches over sidewalk by upper Henderson (Bryan Park) lot need trimming
Clogged drain at switchyard skatepark
Playground structures are rusting and have become a safety risk for children and especially parents. I can feel the structure bow under my weight. There are several areas on the playground in disrepair.
Another one bites the dust... Another car claimed by the totally pointless concrete triangle in the Henderaon/Allen St parking lot at Bryan Park. Someone please take a sledgehammer to this thing.
I know that this was worked on not too long ago, but I don't think there's supposed to be standing water there. This is the northwest area in the Pavilion Lawn.
The end of the air pump at switchyard park is broken off
I wanted to voice my frustrations with some of the new policies that negatively impact the high school golf programs that compete/practice at Cascades Golf Course. First, my understanding is that there is a new policy that the high school team and players cannot schedule tee times in the afternoon during their practice period on any day other than Mondays or Tuesdays. My son has a junior annual membership at Cascades (and has for the last 8-10 years), yet because of his participation on the high school golf team, this policy would presumably prevent him from being able to reserving a tee time on Wednesday-Friday from 3-5:30 p.m. Any other junior annual member who isn't on the team can reserve a tee time during that same time slot. My son pays the same amount for his annual membership as any other junior, but he is presumably denied access because of his participation on the golf team. If that is in fact the policy, that is wrong, unfair, and should be changed immediately. On another note, from what we have been told, I find it disappointing that many of the changes that negatively impact the golf programs (higher prices for range balls, new restrictions to practice space, restrictions to permissible days to schedule matches, etc.) were made without any dialogue with the coaches and/or high school administration. While I fully appreciate that Cascades Golf Course is a business and changes like these are necessary at times, it would seem that the longstanding relationship that the Bloomington North H.S. golf programs and players have had with Cascades would have made a discussion appropriate. That type of discussion would have at least provided an opportunity for the coaches/school to express how some of these changes negatively impact the team (i.e., how viable is it to have a JV team if practice space is so limited?) and how it negatively impacts the growth of the sport. I think a municipal city course should be striving to encourage local youths to play golf, and not making changes that discourage them from doing so.
Please fix the light timer at the Bryan Park Tennis court. The sign states the lighting will go off automatically at 1030 pm. This is not happening. The lighting has remained on past that until at least midnight. It is a very bright light adding to the light pollution in town. Thank you. V/r, Mark
Olcott Park behind Jackson Creek middle has a very large pothole at the circle drive by the playground that needs filled in immediately. This hole has the potential to damage vehicle tires and wheels.
