More uncapped needles on the playground. Trash everywhere. Restrooms a mess with needles.
Please do something! More patrols, anything. It's getting out of hand, and making the neighborhood feel unsafe.

Poison ivy next to the court where the balls roll all the time. We went through four balls because we have to switch balls every time we hit the poison. Ivy in an hour and 15 minutes. We've had one player get it so bad they had to go on prednisone. Please weed it.

My son found this needle last week in the parking lot of the Butler Park Gardens. We went back to the visit our garden today and it was still there so I picked it up and put it in the needle box at the park restrooms. This is the second time in a month or so that our children have come dangerously close to used needles.
Baseball field is basically unrecognizable as a baseball field because of the weeds.

A birthday party at the splash pad shelter had a pinata on the playground, blocking the equipment and making a mess. They did not clean up and were hostile when asked to move.

This is to report a threat that we received at the Switchyard dog park against our dog. After one of our dogs barked and jumped at one of the dogs that was on leash at the entrance to the park, the owner yelled at us and threatened to have our dog put down. He then called security and in front of security staff member threatened to shoot our dog. We regularly bring our dogs to the dog park and they are very friendly with other dogs. We felt threatened during that incident and felt this should be a matter of record for the benefit of other park patrons.

Three dogs running loose, dragging leashes.
There are people laying on the sidewalk on the north side of a fenced in area in the middle of Hopewell Park. They are letting their dogs run around freely in the Astroturf grass area, there was also a loose dog within individuals around the tall green tables, a third dog ran across the street in front of me in between Kroger and The park area. They seem to be associated with the people laying and sitting around. We walk on the B line as I had mentioned before and live at 916 S. Morton St. We walk with our toy poodle. These were very large dogs that look similar to Pitbulls. If one of them would run over They Would chomp her in one bite.
There’s also a tan Nissan van that parks there all day long every single day that I had also reported about. It continues to be there every day with people sitting out around it.
I’ve also seen the people laying on the sidewalks all day long around the fenced in area on the north side to get in the shade every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday when I go to and from work for the last two weeks.

The spruce trees along the perimeter path need some maintenance---weeds like Spanish needles and even saplings are growing up under and around them. Especially the two on the north side below the tennis courts. (Question: I assume you have maintenance schedules for all the Parks---daily, weekly, seasonal, yearly? If so, I'd suggest adding those spruce to the once a year list.

Congrats on the Bryan Park Arboretum designation. A suggestion: a guide to all the trees, accessible by QR code to Park visitors. (Assuming you don't plan on physical IDs like the ones in IU's Arboretum). Perhaps include the trees along Sheridan Creek between Woodlawn and Highland(?). Would be a great educational resource. Some years you had a tree identification activity (submit IDs, get a certificate), intended for kids, but I enjoyed doing it.
