I came home and the water in all my toilets seems to have like exploded all over the bowl... was there utility work being done today? Is my water safe to drink? Its kind of unnerving to come home to this without explanation.

Ongoing sewer smell coming from general area of Cascades creek running behind our house. Always an occasional issue but lately (past few weeks) a very PUNGENT odor happening multiple times a day. Possibly a pipe is leaking?

The town of Bloomington is the jewel of Indiana, and E Kirkwood Ave is the jewel of Bloomington. Over the past couple of years, there has been a persistent smell of raw sewage coming from Oddfellows Alley, just off of Kirkwood Ave. At times, the smell is overwhelming. This creates a very unpleasant atmosphere in the 100 block of E Kirkwood Ave, and diminishes the beauty of our downtown. Please find and contain the source of this smell. I would ask that you make this an urgent priority, and get it done before the Taste of Bloomington event this weekend. Thank you. Chuck Russo
