We are investigating two possible issues related to sewer in your "area". We have two private line/lift stations that come from Jill's House and IU's property just a little north of you and runs through your neighborhood. We also have a force main that comes from IU Hospital the runs south of your neighborhood that might be causing the smell. The lines are not leaking, but the sewage in those lines may be old and become septic causing a stronger than normal smell. We know IU was supposed to be upgrading their lift station and force main and we were hoping this would help. CBU is working on a technology for the force main coming from the hospital that we believe will reduce the strength of the smell.
