this property has been vacant for 25 years. the house is falling away from the chimney. there are holes in the foundation. White 2-story house in the 700 block of W. 7th St. is boarded up, but someone has partially removed a board from the window at the rear of the property. Neighbors have been seeing people in the upstairs at night. The stairway area at the rear of the house, which leads from the basement to the outside is full of water, which is several feet deep. The basement must be full of water. Ms. Stanfield is concerned that a child could drown.
Ms. Geene is concerned about her neighbor's house. Some exterior wall coverings are completely missing. Exterior wall structure is questionable. Roof is open and exposed--birds are pulling insulation out. Looks bad--needs to be fixed. Please stop by or call Ms. Geene with updates.

In a meeting with citizens, it was brought to our attention that a house in the 1300 or 1400 block of W. 6th appears unsafe. It has a blue tarp on the roof and a hole in the front wall. Appears vacant but an attractive nusiance to children in the neighborhood.
STREET DEPT. RECEIVED A CALL THAT PIECES OF A STONE WALL BESIDE 103 E. 15TH ST. IN THE ALLEY HAD FALLEN. STREET PICKED UP THE ROCK IN THE ALLEY HOWEVER, THE WALL IS STILL CRUMBLING. (NEIGHBOR'S NAME IS MRS. MORLAND @ 332-1894)
Rails to Trails: there is barbed wire in a patch of trees. She was walking around dusk and walked into it. Had to get 6 stitches. Is in the Sommersby neighborhood. (It sounds like there is a small path that leads from Sommersby to the main trail. This is where she encountered the barbed wire. This may not actually be a "real" path.)
