Biking & Walking:

Other: According to John Garzee’s response to Ureport #210034, “Cyclists traveling east-west are not being detected at the signal, so they have to use the pedestrian push button to get a green. The current equipment does not reliably detect bikes, and fixing this would require upgrading the detection system. We’ve noted the location, but until funding is available for that upgrade, the signal will not consistently turn green for people biking.” In light of this situation, are there resources available to make the pedestrian beg button accessible to cyclists? It is currently impossible for a cyclist to press the button without getting off the bike and walking to the sidewalk.
