The Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) of the Bloomington-Monroe County Metropolitan Planning Organization (BMCMPO) is a volunteer group consisting of representatives from community organizations, professional organizations, neighborhood associations, and the private sector. Through the CAC, the MPO receives direct input for Policy Committee deliberation on transportation issues. The CAC also assists in developing public involvement programs to solicit general public input on all MPO activities.
Citizens Advisory Committee meetings are open to the public and are held monthly, except for June and December. All meetings take place in the McCloskey Room at City Hall. All meetings take place in the McCloskey Room at City Hall, located at 401 North Morton Street, Bloomington, Indiana. Meeting recordings for the CAC are stored in this google drive folder.
Interested citizens that are not officially representing an agency or association are also invited to join the CAC. Citizens must attend three consecutive meetings in order to gain voting rights.
