The Bloomington Parks Foundation is pleased to launch the Downtown Square Tree Campaign, in partnership with the City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department, to remove dying trees in the public right-of-way surrounding the courthouse square, and replace them with healthy new trees.
Trees benefit our downtown in many ways. Not only do they provide shade and aesthetic beauty, they are a living, breathing testament to the value Bloomington places on the environment, downtown business, and the historic nature of the downtown square.
By supporting the Downtown Square Tree Campaign with the sponsorship of a downtown tree, you demonstrate your commitment to a green and growing downtown Bloomington!
A limited number of trees are available for sponsorship. See the Downtown Square Tree Campaign brochure for a map of locations of trees in need of sponsorships. Tree sponsorships are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
