Description
PURPOSE:
The BCCAC provides valuable guidance and feedback and connects to the broader Bloomington community for Banneker to continue to serve as a cultural hub that aims to inspire individuals to maximize their full potential.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Appointees be shall have been voters of the city for at least one year immediately preceding the appointment. Appointments are made by the Board of Park Commissioners.
DUTIES:
The advisory council meets monthly to discuss pertinent topics related to operations at the Banneker Community Center.
TIME COMMITMENT:
5 hours per month
COMPENSATION:
Each member of the commission does not receive compensation for their service.
Meeting Schedule
Meetings are on the third Thursday of each month.
