Description
PURPOSE:
The Commission was established to encourage the development of programming, explore issues and concerns, celebrate accomplishments, and promote solutions to problems and challenges.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Commission members shall be residents of Monroe County. Preference for appointments shall be given to people with expertise in, or representing, one or more of the following areas: senior issues, health and wellness, recreation, employment, social services, transportation, and affordable housing.
DUTIES:
Celebrate the contributions seniors make to the Bloomington community.
TIME COMMITMENT:
Four hours a month or more.
COMPENSATION:
Each member does not receive compensation for their service.
Meeting Schedule
Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. in the Hooker Conference Room in City Hall.
