There are two utility box covers that have improper covers on them near the athletic fields. The lids are rotten and soft and will not support a person's weight. They also flip open when stepped on. This is a serious safety issue that needs to be addressed as soon as possible.

Specifically, at the pedestrian crossing island/triangle on the south side of East 3rd Street, crossing the pedestrian strip leading directly to the BTown Smoke Time corner (2500 E. 3rd St.). Updated Vehicle Description & Context: Color/Style: White, low-profile, highly modified sports car / sports coupe.Rear Features: Distinctive "widebody" style with very prominent, flared wheel casings sticking out over the rear tires; highly sloped, rounded trunk/rear end. The vehicle features clean, shiny paint. Potential Makes/Models: The physical features and extremely loud aftermarket exhaust strongly resemble a fifth-generation (2020+) Toyota GR Supra or a similar modified sports coupe (such as a Nissan 370Z/Z).Additional Notes: Vehicles of this high value, loud volume, and specific style are highly rare in the area. The aggressive acceleration indicates routine "show-off" behavior along the East 3rd Street thoroughfare. I couldn't see the license plate because they were speeding. They will likely be seen around town again begging for attention. Requested Action:Please route this corrected timeline and vehicle profile to the Friday afternoon Sector Patrol and Traffic Enforcement divisions. Sorry for the mix-up.

Woodscrest Drive (Bloomington, IN 47401) Specific Location Details: The incident occurred at the pedestrian crossing island/triangle on the south side of East 3rd Street, specifically crossing the pedestrian strip leading directly to the BTown Smoke Time corner (2500 E. 3rd St.). Description of Hazard / Incident While walking on the south sidewalk, pedestrians had already stepped off of the curb onto the painted lines of the crosswalk when the driver accelerated. Pedestrians had to stop abruptly in the middle of the street while the driver sped directly in front of them, passing mere inches from their bodies at a fast rate of speed. After nearly striking the pedestrians, the driver turned right and headed eastbound on East 3rd Street. This reckless disregard for pedestrian safety and yield signage created a severe and immediate life-safety hazard. Vehicle Description Color: White Style: Low-profile, modified sports car / Rear Features: Distinctive "widebody" style with very prominent, flared wheel casings sticking out over the rear tires; highly sloped, rounded trunk/rear end. There is a No Large Trucks/ commercial vehicles sign posted at this location yet semi trucks for Secretly Canadian consistently use this street for their commercial traffic and have been damaging trees on other street.

Good morning, when the hydrant was replaced due to a leak, the yard had to be excavated down to the joint. It was backfilled and re-seeded, but has now settled, leaving considerable holes/trench in the yard. Is it possible to get that fixed?

CBU recently replaced a pipe at Broadview and Graham. They filled in the hole and topped it , but now the repair is sinking below road depth and seems to be getting a bit deeper daily. It's becoming a traffic hazard.

The active construction sites on both Second St and West Kirkwood are causing dangerous traffic flow concerns on Howe St. Traffic that would normally take those routes is now all flowing onto Howe St, which is a two-way street with only one-lane traffic flow, and street parking. Typically, Howe St. is not very active except for local traffic. However, traffic flow is nearly continuous from both directions. Today in particular, (8/17) there has been non-stop traffic flow and I have seen several almost collisions and cars are speeding very fast down the road from both directions. I would highly suggest resolving some of the active construction sites in the area so they are not all occurring simultaneously, or alleviate traffic flow issues by planning better detours. In multiple locations on this side of town, many detour signs simply re-route you to another active construction area. Definitely a safety issue as this is a small neighborhood with pets and pedestrians walking the streets most of the time, and most local homeowners are limited to street parking. Additional construction has also recently been added to 1st street, and S Rogers st also adding to the issue.
