I'm curious what the possibility of reducing the speed limit on Bloomfield is? From my observation biking and driving that road daily (I live off Basswood), 40 mph starting just west of Adams seems too fast for such a narrow lane with a lot of drives and high deer crossing further west approaching the highway. I've often seen people fly up the hill between Landmark and Cory and slam on their breaks because they couldn't see the traffic stopped ahead. Not sure how you determine speed limits. I'm also curious of a deer crossing sign could be placed along Bloomfield (between Twin Lakes Recreation Center and I-69) - I bike that road everyday and there's a new dead deer every week or so. I know people stop looking at/get desensitized to signs, but it just seems to appropriate to put a deer sign there. Thanks for all you do!
The street light by 3432 S Ashwood Drive goes on, then dims and sometimes goes off. The light does not stay on
Snow plow barely plowed our cul de sac at all. They came down one time and didn’t attempt to plow the whole thing. Every year has been great but this is by far the worst attempt that has ever been done at plowing our cul de sac. When will the plow be put to finish the job?
No one has came to plow this road at all
This Subaru has been parked continuously from December 9th/Tueday a.m. through December 11th/Thursday pm, then parked in the same spot later December 11/Thursday p.m to December 12/Friday as I submit this report. The license plate is “Indiana LWDBB”. I simply want this to be documented with the City of Bloomington .I have other photos of this Subaru with time stamps for each day and I suspect this car managed to be moved just short of the 72 hour threshold for a car being tagged as a possibly being abandoned. FWIW, this is a chronic problem on the 900 south block of Eastside Drive. We have cars parked daily/overnight and these are students that live in the Maxwell Terrace apartments and avoid an added monthly parking fee by Maxwell Terrace by using Eastside Drive as their free open air parking 24/7. The daily numbers swell as the academic year advances. I’m not expecting any action on this car from Parking Enforcement. I just want the information to be documented for future issues. Thanks so much. Diane Leirer
I live at 1811 S Montclair Ave and the house next to me on Queens Way is under renovation, but there's nobody currently live there. Their AC unit is loudly clicking and I'm concerned that it could overheat and cause a fire. I called the non-emergency police number last night, but it's still clicking today. Unsure how to proceed since I don't have a contact number for the house.

We have had multiple incidents on our street due to people driving too fast and visibility issues for drivers coming out of E Allendale Road. A car flipped and landed at the entrance of Barkley Square apartments, a car went off road striking the corner of a carport and edge of a house, a woman was killed after striking a moving vehicle and most recently a young woman struck our walnut tree at the edge of our driveway suffering a concussion and a broken arm. Totaled her car and the other driver’s car was damaged badly but her airbags seemed to have prevented injury. We, as well as our neighbors have had to replace our mailboxes several times. It is a matter of time before someone on the sidewalk is struck and killed. I have not seen police stopping speeders on our street for some time. I believe some type of traffic calming devices would help as no one drives the 30 mph speed limit on this road.
There is a white car parked here that was towed in. It does not run and has a flat tire. The wrecker backed it in. It needs to be moved as I'm disabled and my home health people can't park there. Because of this I have to walk thru snow to get to a vehicle. Please move it.
