This car has been parked here since Monday. It appears someone may be living out of it. If the person who owns the vehicle is associated with a nearby home, it would be safer for the car to be parked in that driveway.
A blue PT cruiser has been parked in the street in front of my house since at least Tuesday 4/15. My neighbors report that it was first parked there Sunday 4/13. We were out of town, came back and saw this car parked here 4/15. We have not seen anyone coming or going to this car. It’s a nuisance because it’s blocking part of the road. License plate #D691PC.
#201966 has been closed: 'Parking Officer has spoken to the owner and has made sure the vehicles are moved.' This was 4/9/2025. The Red Ford Truck and white SUV, parked in front of 613 S Eastside Drive, have not been moved an inch since that date, nor had they weeks before the Parking Officer addressed the issue with the owner. The Code of Ordinances of the City of Bloomington, Title 15.04.020 (2) defines an Abandoned Vehicle as: A vehicle left on public property continuously without having moved for three days. So the Parking Officer needs to talk to the owner again. He is not moving his vehicles, as the Code of Ordinances requires him to do.
There is a silver car that has been parked in front of this address for at least a month. Two of the wheels are in the yard but the majority of the car is on the road, making it difficult for vehicles to traverse this neighborhood, especially if two cars going opposite directions wish to use the road at the same time. This vehicle also did not have a license plate until this afternoon.
Red Ford truck has been parked in the same location for 6 weeks now. See Code of Ordinances, Title 15 04.020 (2), so it should be considered an abandoned vehicle. Owner at 612 has been told he needs to move this vehicle every 4 days, but he does not do so.
White SUV with trailer attached to it is parked on the street. Trailer has an expired license plate. Also, what is the maximum length of a vehicle that can be parked on the street?
