Pile of yard debris on the south side of the creek needs to be removed as there's a family of skunks living in it. Debris has been there for years but all previous homeowners claim it's "too hard" to clean that side of the creek when the city didn't provide them with a way across it.
I am writing to bring attention to an issue I am facing as a new homeowner at 909 W Cardinal Ct, Bloomington, IN. There is a runoff in my backyard that originates from a creek in a nearby park. This runoff significantly affects the usability of my property, as I am unable to extend my backyard or fully maintain the lawn beyond my fenced-in area due to flooding. As the homeowner, I am responsible for cleaning and mowing the area on the other side of the fence, but i cannot access this space due to the water accumulation. I have reviewed the blueprint and property lines (LOT 4), and I do not believe there should be a body of water running through my backyard. I am also aware that my neighbors have previously complained about this issue, and I would like to resolve it so that I can fully enjoy and utilize my entire property. I would greatly appreciate your assistance in addressing this matter, as I am paying a substantial mortgage but am unable to fully access my entire property. Property owner of 909 W Cardinal Ct fails to maintain property on the south side of the "creek", resulting in the attached. Overgrowth along the "creek", overgrowth in shrubs, bushes, and trees, and for the past two years (no thanks to the City), skunks have been living in the den created just on the other side of our fence. Husband routinely mows over or startles snakes when mowing two-three strips outside our fence. We're in a city neighborhood, for crying out loud. Kids are supposed to play in the backyard?? I can't believe the growth along the "creek" is aiding drainage at all, nor am I understanding how any of this is hard to find or hard to see, assuming anyone actually performs a site visit. All we want is to be able to enjoy the backyard. This? What's in these pictures? That's not why we moved here.

Missing street name signs, and knocked over school zone sign. The school sign I straightened as much as possible but it seems to be just stuck in a dirt hole. So leaned again right away.
