Esan Thai lot paved; contractor made a mess on the alley & parking lot
Complaint that internals from the parking meter were gone, and he was unable to insert any money. Meter is on the West side of Lincoln right before the alley that goes behind Esan Thai restaurant. Constituent believed parking meter number was 7652.
I live at 601 N Walnut Street. The cross walks there (corner of 10th and Walnut) have pedestrian safety crossing buttons and speakers that beep. However, these beeps constantly (24 hours a day) not just when a button is pushed. I can hear it inside my apartment with the windows closed, in my bedroom with the door closed and a pillow over my head. I understand it is a safety feature, but is there a way to fix it so it only beeps when a pedestrian pushes the button to cross the street? Feel free to contact me on the phone if you have any questions: 201-615-2751. Thanks for your help! Christina Friberg

This semi truck that makes deliveries to the gas station at Grimes and Walnut parks in the westbound lane of Grimes. I have seen this happen numerous times. Why is the gas station allowed to externalize the cost of a delivery onto the rest of society? The road is two lanes. The truck is close to both a stop light and a stop sign that makes the traffic issues more severe. A tanker truck delivering fuel is able to park in the gas station parking lot. Why should this semi truck be an different? The cost of the delivery should not be my problem. Instead of an inconvenience to users of the gas station during the delivery, it becomes a serious traffic hazzard for everyone else. This should not be allowed.
