The east alley running beside 417 East Cottage Grove Avenue (between 417 and 421 East Cottage Grove Avenue) is in need of repair. Asphalt is a preferred method of this repair (asphalt alley entirely from Cottage Grove Avenue to 11th Street). The gravel washes out on this alley due to its grade. Republic Services has charged me over $101 for them to remove my residential trash can and recycling can. I can't return them myself or opt out of the service. They also came onto my property with no prior notice and while I wasn't home to take the two cans. They broke 2 of my planters in the process.

We are writing to report the poor condition of the gravel street in front of our property. On our very first day of moving in, one of our vehicles got a flat tire from the state of the roadway. We are requesting that the city repair the gravel street as soon as possible to prevent further damage and to ensure safe access for residents and visitors. Thank you so much.

We noticed a house (601 N. Monroe) in the neighborhood has a severely overgrown front yard and back yard. Lots of yard debris and very long grass and weeds. No one appears to live there currently so we are unable to politely suggest a cleanup in person.
