Heading north from the intersection of 6th and Madison, the first turn in on the right where the asphalt meets the concrete is pitted and uneven. The issue was remedied previously and it was greatly appreciated. However, it has worn down over time again and is causing issues as we need a smooth surface to roll over. Any help filling this in and making the asphalt level with the concrete would be greatly appreciated. Please see my contact info for more details if the picture and description are insufficient. Brawley management has put up "For Rent" signs in the ROWs at multiple locations in the neighborhood along Washington and Lincoln and between 8th and 10th Streets, and likely at other locations around the city. Please remind them to periodically reread the City Code - hopefully, they will eventually learn to be less self-serving and dismissive of the neighbors.

A new resident moved into the neighborhood recently who is in a wheelchair (permanently). He appreciates the ADA-compliant corners at the intersections, but he has difficulty navigating some of the sidewalks where they cross alleys. This particular location is *notoriously* degraded and should be the first alley-repair done next time the City is thinking about ADA issues. Specifically, it is midway between Lincoln and Grant on the south side of 10th. Thank you.

Hi my name is Micah vessely I am a student athlete here at IU playing baseball. I recently signed a lease at Vivo living which is managed by granite student living. I went to granite and grabbed everything I needed from them to go check out my apartment before moving in to make sure it was cleaned and ready to move in. I walked into the building and was immediately disgusted by the smell of smoke and the amount of bugs that were in the entry of the place. That led me to thinking about my room and how that would look if the entry was bad with bugs. I then go up to my room at 217 and walked in and the bugs were all over the place. There was probably 100+ bugs in that room alone. They were both alive and dead. I was ready to throw up when I saw that. Nobody wants to live in a place that is full of bugs it’s disgusting and makes you not want to stay there. So I reported it to the maintenance of Granite and to the management of them as well. They claim they reconditioned the place after the last person moved out which was on 7-14-25. That is a lie because when I talked to the manger at granite, she said nobody has been into that unit to do anything to it. This place was a dump and not what they said I was getting in the pictures and the lease. I paid 299 dollars in fees to have the place reconditioned and it feels as if I just got scammed out of that money. I then asked to be moved to a different unit and they were willing to do that for me which was nice, but I went to the unit they moved me to which was 329 and it was the same situation. The bugs were everywhere and the smell of smoke was just as bad. This is not a place anybody should be living in and I am requesting and inspection to be done in hopes of not having to live in a place that will put my health at risk. As a student athlete, I need to be healthy to participate in schooling and sports to perform at my best and this place feels like I will not be able to prioritize that. I have plenty of evidence of the bugs in each room 217 and 329 and signs of no smoking at or in the building. I need an inspection so I can get out of this disgusting place! Thank you!

Over a year ago, new water lines were installed along Brookdale to accommodate a new apartment complex on the west side of Kinser Pike. (Aspen Apts.) That construction dug up parts of the yards of the houses on Brookdale as well as part of the street itself. The street was never repaved and the areas that were covered up with dirt become muddy when it rains.

Today, Tuesday, July 29, 2025, is my normal trash pickup day. When I put my trash and recycling bins out last night, the street was clear, but from 6:30 on this morning, the sewer repair crew has blocked the street, and so my trash and recycling bins are still in front of my house but blocked by work crews. Will they return to pick it up?
