Caller states that the dumpster is always over-flowing. She has seen several pick-up trucks dumping trash here. Jamar is the property agent.
Grass is high.
High weeds. Caller believes the City of Bloomington owns half of this lot.
Drainage complaint on her property. The Street Department performed work at this address in May 1997 (see attached complaint).
The lady who lives at 1005 W. Orris reports that the field behind her house has trash on it.
Original complaint #602 assigned 11/7/1996. Mable Wade & her daughter Winona Collins live at 1005 Orris Ave. Water is coming out of the sewer above and flooding down on them. Mable wants someone from the city to come and see the situation. Streets came out and unclogged the storm sewer of leaves, however, problem is still getting worse.
There is a hill located behind 1005 N. Orris. It is covered with trash and is being used as a dump. She thinks this land is owned by the Ctiy

IU students are returning which will put even more pressure on the RCA pickleball courts. There are six permanent courts there (one with broken net) The Bloomington Pickleball Club has offered to put temporary lines on the tennis courts to add 6 more courts. There are a number of temp chalk and paint products out there that will do the trick short term. The lines will not affect the ability to play tennis (though no one really plays tennis here) The BPC has temp nets we can put out at least on weekends to help with the crowds. I suggest the city also adopt some court rules for how the courts get shared when there is a large crowd. Let’s get ahead of this before it becomes a bigger problem in a few weeks!
