There is a line of sight issue for traffic turning off of Huntington turning to go west on Miller Drive.
I am wondering why there are 2 speed limit signs right after another on S Highland, when you are coming from the intersection of Miller Drive and heading towards the YMCA. On the right hand side, there is a yellow sign with a 15 mph speed limit, which makes sense because there is a dangerous curve coming up. Next thing you know there is a white sign with a 20 mph sign, also on the right hand side, still before the curve. Wouldn't it make more sense to put the 20 mph sign first and then the 15 mph one?? Thanks for looking into this.
Two days ago we noticed all the storm drains at this intersection were blocked with leaves and debris
It is very difficult to see the westbound traffic when stopped on Highland going north and trying to turn onto 3rd street. The TIS building obstructs the view.
Winslow handicap space full of dirt and grass
A year has passed since I wrote this (closed case #188144): 'The orange barriers along the sidewalk on S High Street between Wimbleton and E Meadowbluff Ct still have not been removed and remain a big eyesore. I was told that Duke Energy needs to do something there before they can be removed. I bet it has been 2 years now that those barriers have been there. Isn't it time that Duke did what they need to do in order for them to be removed?! The, by now faded, barriers are still there a year later. When will this eyesore disappear?
Potholes in the traffic circle.
The sidewalk along Rogers from High St to reach the crosswalk to enter the goat farm park is always partially blocked by overgrown bushes. It seems fine if you’re walking by yourself but if you are pushing a stroller or using a wheelchair or bicycle or someone is coming the other way, it is generally necessary to step off the sidewalk to negotiate the turns
High Street sidewalk on the Northeast corner of the Winslow/High/Rogers roundabout is becoming very difficult to pass due to overgrowth. This needs to be trimmed back to support access from the Sycamore Knolls neighborhood and surrounding area down onto the Jackson Creek Trail.
