Car has parked about half way into the road right at the intersection of 10th & Dunn (North side of 10th). It is not a legal spot, clearly past the last spot on the block (sign). Trucks cannot get by. parking is hard with snow, but if you allow people to just park where they want it will only get worse.
Windfree Lane - I have not seen a city plow truck on it since the storm. Seems a neighbor has plowed it, but there is no sand on it. With it being so steep, sand would be helpful if that could happen. Thanks!
I reside on the 300 block of south Madison. With the closure of south college street Madison has become an alternative route for those choosing to not use the suggested detour on south rogers. The traffic is way up but the road remains in poor condition due to the snow. If you guys get a chance to make a couple of more passes with plows it would certainly help. This portion of Madison is currently much busier than normal. Access to the hotel and convention center is adding to the uptake of traffic. Thank you.
The entire length of S Monon Drive appears to have gone unsalted or at least minimally so. Is there a chance you guys can get to it today before people start street parking again for the evening? Thank you for all your hard work!
Snow is blocking our mailboxes at 733, 739, and 745 E Winslow Farm Drive. I dug out part of it on the road island for 739 and 745, but a large pile is preventing the mail truck from getting close to the mailboxes.
I'm requesting a plow truck and the end of 1100 S Park Ave (as it dead ends into Bryan Park). Y'all did it fine, but the snow removal squad for the apartment next door snow blowed all their stuff into the street.
Resident called to report snow-covered sidewalks along E 2nd St btw Woodscrest and College Mall Rd, as well as along Woodscrest. Both sides of the street are affected.
The snow removal truck pushed the snow off the street/Cul de Sac up beside our mailbox, blocking it from access by the USPS carrier. The snow bank is head high and packed tightly. I am 89 years old and cannot shovel it away and others to hire can’t either. The plow truck driver is not getting the job done correctly. This is not the first time this has happened but this time it will be a long time before it melts.
The street is not being plowed yet the residents are paying taxes for street maintenance. Cars a getting stuck. Regardless of any ongoing issues with the builder, public safety is the responsibility of the city and the street must be maintained.
