There is a stand of invasive Velvet Leaf that has doubled in size over the summer. I think it is in a city easement just south of Greenbrier on the west side of High St. I don't know if you can do anything about it but I thought I would report it.
Speed bumps/rumble strips. Pedestrian crossing light. I’ve been almost run over numerous times here in the crosswalk people are going 40 or 50 miles an hour—-very dangerous for pedestrians crossing.

I’m not 100% sure it’s this address, but someone nearby has a rooster and it’s crowing all the time and is quite annoying. I believe the guy at 615 w Ralston has chickens and that’s the general area the rooster crowing (starting as early as 5:15am) is coming from. If it’s not him, it’s someone pretty close to him. Maybe next door to him or even on Country Club. Can someone please try to get this rooster out of the city limits? Thank you!!!

Police car #1249 left running in the parking lot as officer went grocery shopping and showed pictures from his phone of a vacation with Kroger staff. Officer then ran a stop sign as he left the parking lot. Presumably the police are not above reproach?
Trash receptacles provided by Brawley Properties not sufficient for residents. Brawley is aware of the issue, and trash is blowing throughout the neighborhood, wildlife is digging through the garbage. It’s been going on for weeks. I’ve personally cleaned it up to prevent it from going into my yard, and all the neighbors are frustrated.
Many students have to jaywalk every day here to catch a bus, and 99% of drivers don’t understand the situation. If you do a quick search, you'll realize this has been an ongoing safety issue for 5–6 years. I’ve raised it before (last year and again this year), but nothing has changed. It is frustrating that reports made about trash and couches on porches do not seem to be followed through with. HAND says they do so, but the problems continue. This house, for example - *MOUNDS* of trash are piled up on the west side of the building, and couches remain on the porches all in full view of Runcible Spoon customers. Does HAND issue daily fines that accrue? Or does HAND even issue fines? And if so, does HAND ever actually collect the fines? And if they do, what happens to the money they collect? And if any or all of this happens, are there any records of the fines and their collection statuses viewable by the public? The same issues (trash, couches) are continuing at other addresses in the neighborhood, such as 213 N. Grant and 317 E. 7th, both in view of Grant Street Inn visitors.
