Yesterday I came home to find one of my trees had been cut down by the city. It is a tree I purchased and planted 10 years ago. With no prior notice, or any explanation, it was cut down yesterday. I complained on this forum last night, ticket #165085 and it was assigned to Charles Brandt. I checked status this morning and the ticket seems to have disappeared. I can find no record of it. I also did not receive a response of any kind. The tree was bought by me and no reimbursement has been offered for the city destroying my property. The original complaint was submitted properly, and assigned, and removed from the system without a response from the city. I demand an explanation and I will not be going away until this issue is resolved.
City seems to be deleting and ignoring requests/complaints made through this forum. Yesterday I came home to find one of my trees had been cut down by the city. City response to it's voting citizens, who the city works for, needs to be addressed. What happened to my original complaint?
Resident is filing complaint regarding the parking in the neighborhood near Bryan Park. Cars continually park on grass near his street and other streets (cited Dixie St). Contact information provided.
Corner of Rogers and Coolidge
Broken tree branch hanging over the street on 1st St at the NW corner of 1st and Woodlawn.
Between houses 1210 and 1212 on South Lincoln Street, there is a section of pavement that has buckled and is allowing runoff to wash out the soil under the road and sidewalk. The size is approximately 16" X 36". It is located directly off of the curb, and near the driveway for 1212 South Lincoln St.
There's a 2'x2' square pothole forming (maybe over a former sewer).
A tree fell on power lines next to Willows Apartments. It must've happened during the last storm. It's been several days and no one has done anything, so I wanted to make sure the City knew about it. Potentially hazardous, also blocks sight when pulling out of the Willows Apartments.
