This morning when I went out to gather up my carts I noticed that the bar that goes across the middle of the front of my small trash cart was only in one hole. The bar fell completely off completely as I pulled the cart up the driveway. I assume that bar is essential for emptying the cart. Do you have any advice about how I can get the bar to fit back in both holes? At the moment it’s in one hole and angled up at about a 30 degree angle, which doesn’t seem very useful.
Just out of curiosity, what is the expected life-span of the carts? They are already starting to look beat up. My recycling cart has a piece missing on the corner of the lid.

Lime e-scooters have been dumped, partially in the street near the intersection of Etter Drive and Stephens in the Eastern Heights addition. This have been unused, and are certainly unwanted, and need to be removed from the street, and not placed on anyone's private property. Thank You.

After all the utilities repair that's been going on in our neighborhood, our streets were completely ripped up. The city has since started patching the roads, but they've done a pretty slapdash job of it. The new paving is very uneven and there are gaps and places where it's easy to lose your footing. I've already tripped at least once in the last few days when I've been out walking my dog. I'm a young, able-bodied person so I'm sure you can see how it could pose a risk to the other residents in the neighborhood who might be older or less steady on their feet. I hope this patching effort is a temporary fix and not the final product, because that would be unacceptable. I would love to hear back about this issue and whether or not this is a temporary fix. I hope the roads in our neighborhood can be completely repaved when this water utilities project is fully completed.
