My water bill is charging us for over 33k gallons of water used last month which did not happen. We had maintenance check for leaks and they saw nothing so we believe there is an issue with the meter
We have a very large past-due balance on our bill that doesn't make sense to me. We have paid the bill on time every single time since we moved in august 2023. In November there was a leak and we got a statement credit to cover that cost which reduced the bill to zero for that month. but Since then, there has been a large past due balance that I don't really understand. Whatever information you can provide me would be great thank you
We received a notice on our door that our water usage was higher than usual--"30 gallons per hour used." Could this be from watering our garden about every-other day over the last couple of weeks? Should we be concerned? Since we can't access the meter ourselves, is there a way we could get meter readings over a two- or three-hour period when we're not intentionally using any water?

I would like to thank the city of Bloomington for their professional assistance in helping me avoid a significant problem at my home during the recent snap of epic cold weather. It all began with frozen water pipes when I failed to keep a small stream of water running in my city townhouse; there was no excuse on my part for the mistake. To make matters worse, I needed to catch a flight out of town later that day. This is where the city came to the rescue. I quickly and easily found the city utility web site and created a work ticket from the easy to follow instructions. Literally within minutes, a highly trained and cordial city employee called me and walked me through the steps I needed to take to reduce any potential damage to my water pipes. Only minutes later, a two person team arrived and worked in zero degree weather and quickly turned off the water at the meter. They went so far as to reassure me that they would be back soon after I got back to town and to just give them a call. Despite the near zero temperature, they never once complained about the outdoor working conditions. I was impressed. When I got back to town, I created another work ticket, and the customer service process repeated itself, leading to a perfect resolution to the problem. Hello, My bill was paid but my water is still not working?
We've been charged an exorbitant amount in the water bill for December. The house was empty with no tenant for more than half the month with all the water supply turned off. It is impossible that the meter reading has come to such a high number! Even if the house was in use for the entire month still the consumption has never cost over 70-90 dollars. Please check into the readings and the bill as this is an atrocious for us students to pay!
At my home address : 4777 E. Lampkins Ridge Rd the manhole cover on the underground water meter is cracked leaving a hole in the ground.
