the drain in front of our house has a hole starting in the pavement edge of the drain that could turn into a bigger problem is not inspected and repaired.
photo #2 for Ureport 185936
A drain grate is missing at the corner of the parking lot across from Courtyard Suites by Marriott on S College. I believe this missing cover is on Monroe County property. In any case it drains to either a tributary to Clear Creek or Clear Creek itself. The creek is buried under S College, the Marriott Parking lot and a cement pad running the length of the house to the south. I have a wider view shot better showing the location but uReport will only let me upload a single photo so I have uploaded a close up of the missing grate. It's been like this for several weeks and I am just today remembering to upload the photo I took.
On corner of valley forge and pickwick place. Sunken in drain grates or pitting on roadway surface makes travel either via car or bike or run ing very bumpy or hazardous...I have twisted my leg here before.
The man hole is loose and not secure. It was up when I drove by and popped my tire and rim of my car. I will be contacting the city to try and make it right for the damages.
Displaced man hole/sewage cover in left north bound lane just north of intersection.
Man hole was uncovered, blew my tire and caused damage to my car. Police report number is B25-11744. Police officer stated the city of Bloomington legal department would cover the damages. I have contacted my insurance company as well.
Lots of grit and gravel in the road
The asphalt has collapsed next to the sewer drain and water is flowing into the sewer through the hole, eroding the area under it. (This is the second drain in this neighborhood I have reported for the same issue. It seems the contractor might have used less-than-standard practices in preparing the street drains here.)
