Location: 1212 S High St (High & Covenanter) Notes: The stormwater conveyance is public, and the wall is in the ROW. Homeowner came to CBU with the following complaint & request: The stone retaining wall next to the ditchline is deteriorating; this is the 2nd failure in the wall due to drainage problems.  Homeowner states that the ditch is in poor condition, not flowing properly, and full of "mud piles", etc which is causing erosion below the wall. He is requesting a call to schedule a time to meet onsite to show staff what is happening and determine what can be done about it. If he is not available by phone, he requests that we knock on the door upon arrival so they are aware of our visit and will walk the site with us. I notified him that most of our staff is currently out of the office, but someone should be able to meet with him on Friday. (He agreed to this potential timeframe.)

Grey water drainage from this address is draining onto my property at 2408 S Shadow Grove Ct. The homeowner had painted the white PVC plumbing pipe brown so that it blends in with the ground and then added a storm grate over it.

We have had multiple utility companies digging in our backyard over the past few years. This is disrupting our lives. We are not sure if they are staying in the utility easement. We would like to be assured that this process is legal and our property rights are not being infringed on.

My neighbor is continues to drain her above ground pool onto my property despite my request that she not do so as it is killing the landscape plants in my garden and makes a muddy mess. I have verbally asked, sent a certified letter and after I did so she moved the drainage hose closer the property line. I have more photos documenting all of this. Any advise or assistance that you can offer is appreciated. Thanks

Hello, My home sits at the bottom of an incline where the water in the neighborhood drains onto our driveway and property. Every time it rains the water causes erosion on the property and flooding to our garage and yard. Not only is the un-directed water effecting us, but is also causing the road to erode where water is standing on the asphalt. As well as eroding neighbors propertys and driveway, which then end up in front of our home puddled in the street,(water,gravel,soil). A solution could be installing curbs and catchment drains in the surrounding area to better direct the water from causing more damage to ours and neighboring properties. The neighborhood has insufficient street drainage for runoff, and this has threatened to flood my home again after yesterday’s rain. It already flooded with extensive damage in 2021, simply because the developers have inadequately accounted for the necessary drainage. I have documented the issue with the ONE drain on the downward slope of the street, where the water pools, meeting my front door, and even moving four parked cars. I would appreciate the benefit of your expertise regarding this matter as soon as is feasible for you. I have also contacted my homeowner’s association for assistance. Thank you!

The hill on East Moore's going up from Sare Rd to Andrew Circle becomes a full on river when it rains, and a bobsled track when that rain freezes. It's very dangerous.
