Other

Sare & Rogers

Case Date:
11/11/2024

Just north of the Sare and Rogers traffic circle are several power lines that were never properly repositioned. They seem to be dangerously close to vehicles/sidewalk on the west side of Sare. We thought Duke would take care of them but they didn't return after restoring power following the last big storm that brought down trees around there.

Street & Traffic Signs

500 N Walnut ST

Case Date:
11/12/2024

Please consider installing a "one way" sign on the NE corner of Walnut/9th pointing west to indicate to drivers travelling north on Walnut that 9th is one-way west. There is already a sign on the NW corner, but that is not always seen by drivers who are intending to turn right onto 9th.

Blocked Street

North Drive and Henderson St

Case Date:
11/7/2024

Will you please have someone move the large City dump truck that has been parked in the northeast corner of the Frank Southern parking lot for some time now, and not park large vehicles there in the future? It blocks views of Henderson to the south, and requires motorists to pull all the way into the crosswalk to see if traffic is coming. Thank you.

Sidewalk & Curb Complaints

Case Date:
11/12/2024

Directly in front of the entrance to the Alley Bar, the brick sidewalk has sunk and is an extremely dangerous trip hazard. Numerous people trip as they are walking west or east on the sidewalk, and some have even fell. It keeps getting worse and worse. The bricks need to be removed, add some stone or concrete and relay the bricks. Thank you for your understanding!
