Our back alley way needs to be plowed very badly. I pay an extra $50 a month to park in my units garage and my car can’t even make it 5 feet into the alley. My car has gotten stuck numerous times and last night it almost got stuck and damaged because of how bad the alley way is. I was forced to park on the street after becoming unstuck after 30+ minutes. This is ridiculous and I will not be paying any meters because I am being forced to park on the street or continue to ruin my tires or engine. This is the alley way between 267 W 11th and 5 north apartments.
On the west side of the intersection at S. College Mall Road and E. Covenanter Drive, there is a lot of sand and debris in the streeet. This intersection needs swept up and cleaned up. This is supposed to be a bicycle route and the amount of sand and gravel in that intersection makes it quite dangerous.
When headed west on Covenanter over college mall, the left turn green arrow is very faint and almost impossible to see in the daytime
Traffic light is operating from a timer, not traffic. I am experiencing this as the only car north/south in the mornings around 5:30a.m.; no cars east/west to trigger the signal
On the west side of the intersection at Covenanter and College Mall Road there is a lot of sand and gravel in the road as of a few days ago.
The sensors are not working properly. Early in the morning, when there is no traffic, I will often sit on college mall road heading north for 2+ minutes. It runs through the entire cycle including crosswalks...even if no one else is at the light. There are now often many cars backed up at the light. It is very in efficient. Thanks for your help!
Can the sidewalk and street at the intersection of East Covenanter Drive and College Mall Road be swept clean? See photo attached. Much gravel is on the sidewalk on the southwest corner and in the center of East Covenanter Drive on the west side of this intersection.
Dumb down the east-west “smart signals” at Covenanter and College Mall Rd (and elsewhere in this corridor) that make it impossible for a a cyclist to cross the street if there is not a car at the intersection to trigger a green light. The only other way to get a green light at these intersections is to press a beg button designed for pedestrian access. The current default signals for car convenience make traveling by bicycle on the east side a real hassle.
