Abandoned vehicle parked facing south on Fairview St. This vehicle has been parked on the cross section of W. 6th St. & Fairview St. for approximately 7 days which during that time has not moved. We suspect it to have been abandoned by a patron of Juanitas restaurant perhaps. Vehicle Description: Hyundia Sonata (Silver) Massachusetts Plate #: 65XC99
The parking lines on the south side of the square are even more invisible than they were last year when I requested they be re-painted. I was told last summer that the painting was scheduled, and then it was winter and it hadn't been done. Then I was told it was scheduled for this past spring. It's still not done. Can we PLEASE get these painted this year before the snow flies? -Eric Schmitz, Monroe County Recorder
Sidewalk and access ramp booked by dumpster. Behind MCPL on 6th street.
Three Lime scooters blocking alley way and sidewalk access.
This is the SECOND time I'm bring this issue to the City's attention. The person who has a private parking spot at 521 W Smith Avenue refuses to park within the white lines (parking ON the lines does not cut it; either the person is totally unaware of his vehicle location, or he refuses to follow the law and compromises the safe travel along this little run of Smith Ave. e.g. makes it problematic for city sanitation, UPS/USPS/FedX, and emergency vehicles. (I would include a photo of his current "on the line" parking which is about two feet away from his limestone wall e.g. PLENTY of extra space to ease out of the middle of the street, but you get the the 'picture'. Again, this is my second request to move the City into action. A small problem, but it represents a long-standing disregard or manipulation for/of the law. And as I said before, I spoke with this person directly and encouraged him to park between the lines.)
Vehicle that may belong to resident of 1401 W. 6th but has been sitting at this vacant lot for over two weeks, maybe a month.
Parking meter on north side of 7th between Walnut and College — has coin slot and says coins accepted, but digital readout says card only. I didn’t see the digital readout until I had already put money in the coin slot. Had to move my car to another parking place. I know this has also happened to other people on other blocks. What’s the deal? So inconvenient.
A car has been parked in the tree plot at 803 N Park Ridge Road for several weeks now. Please inform the residents of the city ordinance concerning parking on unimproved surfaces.
This is a recurring issue from last year. Commercial equipment being parked in our Sycamore Knolls subdivision for over 3 months! Don’t know if it’s in need of repair, but they’ve had plenty of time if it does. Also, Sycamore Knolls subdivision has Convenants prohibiting the parking of such vehicles in the neighborhood. Can the proper authority/department please address this issue at the intersection of Arden and Sycamore Court. Thank you for your time.
