Two large dogs and three cats are being housed at my neighbors apartment (landlord thinks she only has one)—neighbor frequently leaves them unattended for days and one of the dogs is in bad shape. We are renters at 1501 S Walnut Street. Our new landlord cut down most of the plants around our house and the other rental houses beside us. We then noticed more mice over the winter, and caught a rat in a trap. Our landlord is putting out traps and we have put all food in bins, but we are seeing gnawing of furniture and we’re afraid once the first rats are gone more will come. I think this is probably happening in the other buildings too, can the city do anything about rat traps on the exteriors of these houses at s walnut and hillside?

For two days there has been a dead opossum lying on the steep side lawn on this corner
Large aggressive- St. Bernard attacking & jumping on vehicles in gated community (Eagle Pointe). Owner has a Rope leash and dog is constantly getting away and attacking what is in site. This is reported by the Association Board. Multiple reports and cases have been sent to the board. Owner Name- Welsey Peterson Owner seems to purposely let go of leash.
There is a dead raccoon at the side of the road on East Hunter Avenue, near the intersection with High Street. It is at the edge of the road, against a low stone wall. I would appreciate it if the city would remove and dispose of the dead animal. Thank you.
