Anonymous caller was upset that Truck #462 stopped at Crescent Donuts and bought a paper and a donut at noon today. He said, as a taxpayer, he pays for this man's truck and doesn't want him doing any personal business on company time.
Anonymous complaint that kids are playing on equipment and materials in parking lot near Foodworks on Washington Street. Caller says she thinks the equipment is City-owned. She's afraid one of the kids will get hurt.
Male caller said Adams St. near the old railroad tracks hasn't been paved in years and the City needs to do something about it. He said the pavement is so rough it routinely damages cars that drive over it, especially if they're going over 10 miles an hour.
Female bus driver said she thinks it's dangerous for City Sanitation trucks to block the entire width of the street when they're doing the trash pickup. She said she's afraid there will be a bad accident.
Washing machine sitting on the corner of a white duplex, on the corner of Belle Avenue and S. Westwood Drive.
Dana Leann Mobley called questioning why she is being billed for wastewater. Claims she is on septic. However, upon review of CUBS acct, it appears that she was part of the SR 48 project and the State paid her connection fees. Nancy has previous knowledge of this acct. Please review and contact customer back at 336-1095. Her address is 5414 W SR 48. System couldn't find the address.
BPD reports metal plates are off construction site at 10th & College and need to be put back on.
I had a voice mail stating that the caller was apparently transferred to the wrong department but perhaps I could send information to appropriate department. The caller stated that they were calling regarding the street cut on College just south of 10th Street. Caller advised the "road cut was absolutely ridiculous" and "needs to be fixed". There was no name/number left on voice mail.
Owner of 415 South Woodlawn Avenue has inquired about ownership of sanitary lateral that is backing up at this location. He indicates he has had several back-ups in the couple of months. He has inquired about the possibility of CBU making repairs to this lateral. However, this is a private line and the homeowner’s responsibility. He has spoken with Tom Axsom, Rick Schroeder and Phil Peden of CBU. CBU main operating as designed.
