Someone needs to check on the construction crew working Rogers Street in the Patterson area. They are blocking the sidewalk with their materials on the east side near the warehouse. One of the contractors unexpectedly pulled his truck out onto the street to block a vehicle and then pulled it out aggressively again almost causing an accident. When confronted about this being unsafe he said “I can do whatever I want“.
Construction project that was set to begin 8/20/25 started out of nowhere on 10/6/25, putting Rogers to northbound traffic only. If you do try to go northbound, there is to be a flagger at the Novo Nordisk entrance, but this morning there was not one. Traffic backed up going northbound, and traffic was still coming southbound. Thus, things were at a standstill as there was no flagger from Crider & Crider (company logo I noticed on trucks) to direct traffic. Would like to know when this project will last as it didn't start on time and there was no notice that the southbound lane would be completely closed, even to those of us who live in the area.
Sidewalk along Landmark has no curb ramp on one end for wheelchairs and power chairs to get on and off. And on the other end which was just redone really has no curb ramp either. You might be able to drive an RC car on it that how narrow the flat spot is. You cant drive a chair up on it because its not flat. People in wheelchairs and Powerchairs are avoiding this and going the wrong way down the street towards 3rd in a blind curve. Its only a matter of time before a car rounds that blind curve to find a wheel chair user in the lane also heading towards them. We just had a girl stuck out there today trying to get on the sidewalk but couldn't. Somebody is gonna get hit. Please let us know how we can help you help this matter. Best Wishes, Kevin. Vacant lot between 3124 and 3120 E Ramble Road. The shrubs and trees branches are encroaching on the public sidewalk. The owner needs to maintain their property so that the sidewalk is able to be traversed and not require pedestrians to walk in the street. Thank you.
The new art installation light display by the Mill on 300 w 10th st seems to be malfunctioning, or not working anymore
10th St. and Discovery Parkway is way overdue for safe pedestrian infrastructure. As you can see, it's close to a post office, several employers on Discovery Parkway, and several apartment buildings. It's also serviced by city transit. But it's entirely unsafe for pedestrian crossing and seems like it's not even set up for that. Please invest in making it more usable for people to be able to safely cross 10th from Discovery to get to Pete Ellis.
There is are several crosswalks on Allen St. that are very hard to see at night. The lines could use reflective coating or blinking lights to help them be visible by car headlights at night.
The traffic light pole here takes up half the sidewalk, leaving very little room for pedestrians to get around. Probably impossible for someone with a mobility aid to pass (e.g. wheelchair, walker). Seems like a major ADA issue. Even as someone with fine mobility, I barely had room to get by while staying on the sidewalk.
Turning right from 17th St onto Madison St is a nightmare. You're either going to hit the car that's in the lefthand turn lane on Madison St, or you're running over the decently large curb. The only cars that can safely navigate this are small cars. If you're a truck, SUV, or, God forbid, a city bus, you're in trouble. Cars don't turn at 90 degree angles. The radius of that curb is entirely too small.
