Abandoned looking house. Eyesore. Peeling paint. Invasive vines climbing on structure. Mowed 1 time earlier this year. Seriously? There is no clean up enforcement that can be taken on behalf of the surrounding property owners whose property values suffer when blight like this seem to be enabled? by lack of proper regulation or enforcement?
Excessive growth in 5th st ROW and NOT in utilities easement.
Bloomington Municipal Code - related to easements. "(d)Maintenance.(1)For features required to be in an easement, maintenance shall generally be the responsibility of the lot owner, except as expressly provided otherwise in this UDO or in the development approval." The yard is attracting major wildlife such as raccoons, foxes and snakes and the plants have become so high it is causing a driving hazard when turning. We are worried about accidents with kids playing near this house. It is a safety hazard. The weeds have gotten out of control and the owner does not take care of the yard. Please help address this.
There is a bench next to the basketball court that is surrounded by beaten down dirt and tree roots. I would be more attractive if the ground around it was covered by wood chips.
A deep gully has formed at the intersection of the alleys behind (west-side) of this house. It is deep enough to cause damage to a vehicle if a tire ends up in it. There is another somewhat degraded spot about 40' west alongside 802 N. College.
