There is an grayish (unpainted), stand-alone curb in the corner of the village pantry parking lot and 3rd st. Between the flat grayish surface of the parking lot and the flat grayish surface of the sidewalk. I understand this is to deter cars from cutting through the parking lot but I now know THREE PEOPLE who have BROKEN BONES because of this curb. Two were pedestrians ans one was on a bike. This curb is a HAZARD and should be at the very least PAINTED YELLOW to reflect this and hopefully prevent further accidents. Thank you.
Village Pantry has made no effort to clear snow and ice from sidewalk on east side (300 S Eagleson) side of business
'Light the Way' blue sign in the ROW at this location. There are 27 of these same signs on fences and in yards within a couple of adjacent blocks along E First Street. An unnecessary proliferation of signs, if I ever saw one.
One of the purposes of UDO's section 'Signs' is 'to avoid unneccessary proliferation of signs'. There still are close to 20 blue 'Light the Way' signs on E First Street between Woodlawn and Eagleson. The promised 'signage sweep by Planning staff' (March 18, 2025 quote) must not have taken place yet. The sign at 1320 E First in the grass next to the sidewalk is illegal, according to the Elevate map. Property does not extend all the way to the sidewalk.
6 of our street pole lights are out/ not lighting up
Checking to see if you will be re-striping the lanes just south of the intersection of College and 17th. Almost been sideswiped a couple times.
where the two paved trails meet behind the social security office under a telephone pole there's a small pile of trash including used needles
Large vacant field on the west side of Rogers Street (in front of Catalent) has not been mowed all spring and grass is overgrown. Property transferred ownership this spring and it seems the new owners are not keeping the grass cut.
My old car which is registered to park in Bloomington does not work anymore and I'm getting rid of it. I am getting a new car for the next few weeks to replace the old one. Can I use the sticker on the old car and put it in the new one to park on the street or can I not do that since I didn't register with the city?
