Traffic light at the intersection by Sam's club on 45 is out. Very dangerous.
The traffic lights are out at S College Mall Rd and E Covenanter Dr, S College Mall Rd and E Buick Cadillac BIvd, and S College Mall Rd E Second St. The three between Kroger and the mall area. All lights are out
I approached the traffic light on Country Club and Rogers from the East around 9:50 p.m. on July 14. When I got to the gas station driveway the light turned red for me. There were no cars coming from the north and south on Rogers so it seemed that it was a timing change, not motion change. Several other cars arrived on Country Club from both directions and we sat there as the light cycled through the turn arrows and straight lights for Rogers. Having the light there change on a timing cycle does not seem like the proper decision. Want to add I love green arrows and motion sensors and the yellow arrows that were recently implemented around town so I think that's why this struck me.
There are a few times recently where the light is only green for a few seconds and lets maybe three cars through. I've experienced it from both directions but the last two days it has been when coming from the south going north. The light was doing this in the Spring as well but seemed to have been fixed but is now doing it again.
The light is flashing red coming out of Bell's exhaust and harbor freight parking lots
N/S light on Henderson has a very long green, appears to be causing frequent congestion on Winslow.
Traffic light at the intersection of Sare and Moore's Pike seems to be too short at times with only 4-5 cars being able to traverse the intersection before the light changes.
Stoplight at old State Road 37 and State Road 37 stays red for the state Road 37 traffic even when no cars are coming from old State Road 37 for an extended period of time
The pedestrians crossing signals at 3rd and Adams, on the NE and NW corners, shout “wait, wait” when pedestrians can’t cross. But when it’s time for pedestrians to cross, the verbal directions are very faint and hard to hear over traffic. And many of these devices at other locations don’t work at all. Are they routinely checked? Thank you.
