Dear Mayor Hamilton, Thank you for your op-ed piece, “Pistols in the Pool, Machine Guns on Parade and Nothing We Can Do,” published in the NY Times. You message was clear, passionate, and eloquent while posing the crucial question of how to keep our town safe and clarifying how we’ve arrived at these untenable circumstances. Your timing for pointing out Republican Vice President nominee Mike Pence as the source of this situation in particular is appreciated. My husband and I are so glad your message was given this platform. As parents of a son in law enforcement, we were also glad you addressed how hazardous the lack of gun restrictions in Indiana is for police officers. Thank you for taking this stand. Northbound side of Rogers Street and Country Club Drive (cars waiting between that nasty abandoned gas station and the country club fence): the west-bound left turn onto Country Club green arrow lights up regardless there being any cars in the left-turn lane. I see this various times of day (when I'm in the north-bound lane on Rogers). Perhaps there's no sensor in the road, but thought I'd bring it up.

This is in relation to a concern regarding an excavation project on the neighbors property, located at 3720 Brighton avenue. The neighbors project is impacting the run off from a storm drain which runs through his property. He is using the run off from the drain to fill several large ponds he has developed. The ponds are not properly reinforced nor is there a mechanism for controlling their overflow or run off. The result is that after this mornings recent rain, mud and debris are flowing from his property onto an adjoining piece of property owned by an hoa. I called four weeks ago to inquire about a legal permit which I assumed he had for the work. The employee who assisted me found that there was a permit in place for excavation which related to a proposed addition. We have not observed any home construction activities with relation to this excavation.

Hello, there is a blue Dodge Durango that has been parked in front of 933 Buckingham Drive for at least 1-2 years. It now has a current license plate but it always has a flat tire. I believe it can only be parked there for 72 hours. Also, there are cars that park the wrong way on Piccadilly Street and are on the sidewalk.
