Light on south side of house is completely unshielded and causes glare and trespass on neighboring property. This nuisance light interferes with circadian rhythms of insects and pollinators. Garden produce is incompletely pollinated due to bright lights at night. Please enforce this.

My whole bedroom is lit up from the nuisance light next-door that is in violation of the City of Bloomington code, yet there is no enforcement. There is light trespass as well as glare from the unshielded light which has a totally exposed element. Please enforce with all owners of this property.

City selectively failing to enforce the code: Glare. All lighting fixtures shall be installed so as not to cause glare at or beyond the property line and shall not be aimed toward traffic. All lighting fixtures shall be installed so that light trespass from any property line, except a property line abutting a public street, shall not exceed two footcandles at a point one meter beyond the property line.

At dusk, on Tuesday June 17, a new floodlight was turned on near the corner of Woodlawn and Maxwell, at the Bryan Park tennis courts. This flood light points directly at the back of 916 E Maxwell and my home 912 E Maxwell. This light is comically bright and blindly. I support all efforts to maximize the safety of my community members using the tennis courts, the walking path and the parking lot on Woodlawn, but this floodlight is too bright for our neighborhood and pointed in the wrong direction. This light was on past midnight. I am asking that this light is pointed in another direction (towards the parking lot perhaps?) I have included two photos from the standpoint of my back door to my yard, where I can see nothing but the blinding light, and a photo of the back of the house, showing how bright it shines on the south facing side of the house. My neighbors at 916 have their entire south facing side of their house lit up by the blinding light.
Street lamp/pole is rapidly flickering. It is on northwest corner of 7th and Morton - outside of Ragstock store. Thank you.
