When turning south from 15th street to N Madison Street, there is a bush that makes it difficult to see the southbound traffic on N Madison Street. This creates a hazard when completing this turn. If possible , please trim or remove this bush. Thank you!
Hi! Our yellowwood street tree has a small branch partially broken and hanging down in the road. I was wondering if you could please come and cut it? It’s a ragged break so I’m not sure exactly the best way to cut it. Thank you!
Tree on the city side of the side walk is unsafe and has had 4 large branches fall into the road randomly during times of normal weather, no rain or winds. There are more branches that look as though they will break any day and will fall into the street and sidewalk. The sidewalk is a busy sidewalk and that portion of the road is often used for parking for people visiting the area. The tree has been spray painted with a pink dot, if that means anything. Thank you Roxie Barnes
There is a walnut tree that is in the easement between our house and the trailer park next to us. My wife has been told that the city won’t do anything about it unless it is “causing damage.” It constantly drops walnuts onto our roof. This is not only annoying and loud all the time, but will cause damage to my roof over time. I would say that is “causing damage.” We would love if the city would step up and do something about it.
The large Pin Oak across the street (and listed as a City Tree in the Treekeeper site) has a large impending branch extending over S. Clifton Ave. There is a large snag caught in the branch. This large snag is going to fall and potentially strike pedestrians, cars, or anyone else using Clifton Ave. Moreover, the branch itself is now sagging much more than in the past. We fear that the branch will fall soon and cause an injury or property damage.
On the morning of July 11, I found a large branch that had fallen into the street, blocking about half of the roadway. A few hours later, another branch from the same tree fell onto the sidewalk. Both branches were removed promptly after I reported the issues, and I appreciate the quick response. However, I am concerned about the health of the tree, as falling branches could pose a safety risk to pedestrians or passing vehicles. Would you please arrange for someone to evaluate the tree's condition? Thank you!
3rd St bicycle lane between Eagleson and Indiana. Many of the trees adjacent to the bike lane have branches low enough to smack bikers in the face. Can they be trimmed? I keep having to duck to protect my [somewhat] beautiful face from harm. Thanks for the help.
Vegetation on north side of Moores Pike between Valley Forge and Winfield makes it hard to pull out of Valley Forge Rd (south on Valley Forge turning onto Moores Pike). I'm not sure if it is trees or just other brush. I understand that the crest of the road also limits sight distance, but the vegetation is making it even worse. Please trim. Thank you!
Dead tree at Sare Rd and Winston entrance to Hyde Park.
