Nearest the intersection with N Dunn St. on the south side of E Saville is this No Parking sign that is extremely faded. With football season coming up and parking an issue in Matlock Heights, I'm wondering if it could be replaced with a more readable, new one. Thanks!
One way signs missing from middle of traffic island at Allen and Rogers.
Street sign at corner of Matlock and Headley missing due to accident.
The "No Turn on Red" sign at Smith Road and E. 3rd Street (west bound) is in the wrong place. Drivers seem not to see it as they pull up to the intersection. The sign should be posted across the street.
There was an accident on our corner (9th & Walnut) this weekend. I didn’t see it, but heard it and saw the immediate aftermath. Looking at the positions of the cars, I guessed that the car that was hit had been crossing Walnut via 9th and was t-boned. When I looked at the stop signs on 9th Street, I realized that there is no indication for the driver that this is NOT a 4-way stop. These big crosswalks could easily make people think that it’s a 4-way. These 9th Street stop signs need “cross traffic does not stop” signs added to them so that drivers new to Bloomington can be safer.
Strong Dr looks like it was made for street parking but maybe not lined correctly. It is very difficult to drive on the road with the street parking and semi’s using g the road. At the same time. Let alone if 2 large truck ave to Passat the same time.
A few of the street signs at this intersection have been stolen (two blocks directly east is a notorious fraternity living in an apartment complex). There is currently no indication of the street names and also no sign informing drivers that Cottage Grove is one-way west.
2 speed humps on E 1st St between Eagleson and Woodlawn: One has a "Speed Hump" warning sign, but it is hardly visible to westbound traffic because of tree branches; other speed hump has no warning sign in westbound directions, and maybe also in eastbound direction.
The stop sign at the corner of 11th and Madison is completely obscured by a tree.
