The manual for uniform traffic control devices provides the standard that all-way stops shall have an "All-Way" plaque, with the intention to indicate to users of the road that cross traffic does not stop at intersections without those plaques. Upon investigating the mentioned crash, it does not appear that this crash occurred due to the driver not being aware of the requirement to yield
