west side of Ballantine blocked by trash cans
This block never puts away their trash cans. They’re always blocking the sidewalk, bike lane, parking spots, and street often all week long. Multiple houses. The whole block.
Vehicle parked blocking sidewalk on south side. Green Chevy Aveo LT, Indiana T208027. I can provide photo of back of CSR with license plate if needed.
The walking bridge on Second Street between Rose Ave and Anita was damaged by a fallen tree about a month ago and has been closed since then. To walk to work, I have to invade a neighbor's privacy by walking through her yard. I have noticed quite a few people (including an elderly one today) walking on the street, which is very tight traffic-wise. Does the city have plans to fix it? A second concern is one I've asked about several times over the years. Since I've heard about the plan to reconfigure the bike lanes on 3rd Street beginning on Rose, is it possible to put a crosswalk there (across 3rd on Rose). I have found this also to be a hazardous place to navigate on my walk to work in the IU School of Education on North Rose Ave. Many thanks for your attention to both questions! Hannah Schertz 512 S Rose Ave.
The parking lot is corroding, creating a mess all over the public walk way. Needs to be cleaned up asap
Someone regularly parks a relatively new Hyundai Elantra on the sidewalk here, blocking the sidewalk. There is plenty of driveway and on-street parking. No idea why they feel the need to do this, but it forces pedestrians to either cross the street or walk in the grass. I think they should stop parking on the sidewalk because the sidewalk is not for cars. Thanks!
Residents of 517 W Howe St refuse to stop parking on the sidewalk

New BRU burger building has multiple downspouts that drain directly onto the Grant Street sidewalk. I don't believe this is allowed with new construction?
