We had a massive overflow of the drainage ditch next to our house after tonight's (2/20) storm. There must be some blockage at the end of the drain because water poured out of the ditch and basically covered our half of our backyard. The ditch either needs to be dug deeper and/or it needs to be cleared of debris in order to assure adequate drainage. We have photos for visual evidence but were unable to upload them through this website. Thank you for your attention to the matter.

Ms Ochoa left a voice message. She is trying to figure out how she can make the front of her house look better. She is the only person with an asphalt gully; all the others have pipes. She would like to make hers nicer by putting in a pipe but doesn't know if that will be allowed or how it would be done.

Yellowwood Ct. There is a city storm drain that dumps a river of water from the south side of my property all the way the way to the other end, then continues into the neighbors yard. As you can see in the attached photos, this is causing a great deal of soil erosion, property damage and negatively affecting the value of my home. When I purchased the home, I was told there were no issues with water. But I am now told by neighbors the previous owners spent a lot of time and money trying to repair the damage. She left a voice mail indicating her parents live at this address and have had problems with water damage and drainage for the last couple years. Water comes off neighbor's driveway and across road and down their driveway. She has pictures. She said she and her brother will be in town next week and want to try a resolve this issue. She wanted to know if she could send me pics, have someone look at it and let her know if it might be an issue with the road slope or if it's a private home issue. And if it is a private home issue, who she could call to help her fix it next week. She said she teaches so can't answer the phone but asked me to text her an email address so she could send the photos.

There is an inordinate amount of water that comes off 2nd St in a big drain pipe and into the backyards. Her neighbor enclosed a drainage swale and the pipe is not deep enough and now pushes water onto a different location on her property. She said a guy from the City came out before and said what her neighbor did on his property was wrong and changed things. She has hired a contractor to try and fix her property so it doesn't go in her crawl space but wants the city to look at it because she isn't sure she can do these things and isn't sure she is responsible.

I live on the corner of Maxwell St. and Miller Drive at 1730 S. Maxwell Street and when it rains my front yard, near the street floods. A curb on the corner of the street would help this situation. I have noted a couple of other corners near my house where curbs have been installed (Circle Drive and Mitchell St.) to help with this same problem. Could someone please evaluate this issue and help me solve it.
