Hello
There are regularly cars blocking the bike lane on Washington between 4th and 3rd Sts
I wonder if there's a way for the city to make it clear to ride share drivers and customers of DaVinci that this is illegal and that they cannot block the bike lane.
"Sending people to patrol the area" is definitely not working.
Just a thought.
Thanks!

There have been several obstructions in the "walking area" near the road all winter, which is already made smaller by an overgrown honeysuckle bush that pushes pedestrians into the road on Matlock just over a blind hill with limited space for two cars. The honeysuckle bush is directly in the path, and just before it are a bunch of wire planter cages also blocking the path and creating a dangerous impediment to walking. I once tried to just pick them up and move them, but they seem to be held to the ground. They have been smashed down, but are now creating a slippery surface (even without the ice now covering them). They cover a small hill leading into the honeysuckle tree, and I recently fell trying to cross them, which put me dangerously close to passing cars. While the space across the street is actually better for passing, it is generally unpassable, as it does not get mown, and is allowed to grow up tall with weeds the majority of the year. I added a photo--very difficult to see the wire cages, so I have circled them in the photo. They are also difficult to see in real life, which makes them more hazardous. I think these items belong to the house inside the fence, rather than the log cabin, just fyi.

Hello-
There are often cars blocking the bike lane on west bound 4th St between College and Walnut.
This was never an issue before becasue there was no bike lane here.
The most obvious solution would have been to not put a bike lane here, or to have made it protected, but since a line has been painted notating a "bike lane" I wonder if there's anything the city can do to keep cars from blocking it.
thanks!

Hello-
There are regularly cars blocking the bike lane here between 3rd and 4th St's n Washington St. Pretty much daily.
This has been a problem for years.
I wonder if there's anything the city can/will do about this. Or will it just continue to be a free-for-all parking lane?
thanks

Very difficult and dangerous to cross the road when getting on or off the bus mostly during rush hour and when the sun is down. Public light is a bit far from the cross walk. Cars are going fast in that area and don't stop for pedestrians.

Starbucks on S Walnut St

The sidewalks along S. Walnut St in front of Starbucks have not been cleared of any snow. Because of that, walking along S Walnut St. has become extremely difficult. People are forced to either walk in northbound S Walnut St or risk falling on the slick and hard snow that lies on top of the sidewalk. It is inexcusable for a business to ignore pedestrian safety. Thank you for any assistance in resolving this situation.
