Tonight (Aug 28th) the music at Switchyard is WAY TOO LOUD. I am in my apt at south rockport rd and I cant even hear my television, my dogs keep barking, my son with autism has had a few meltdowns. Usually I hear it slightly. I hear it as if I am their in front of the band tonight. I thought of calling police for a noise complaint is it would work to make them turn it down.

I have now multiple times seen homeless people making a new encampment here. Tents, hammocks, unsupervised dogs and all. It seriously frustrates me that this is one of the only safe, family friendly parks/trails and it is starting to become an encampment. What also concerns me is there are two schools and a church nearby, all of which have kids who walk or bike to school and use the trail to safely get there. People living here also means destroying what a beautiful area this is. The setup I saw near the creek today will undoubtedly bring trash and unwanted debris to the water and the surrounding areas. We should not continue to tolerate this in our parks and on our trails. It’s not helpful or caring to people who are clearly struggling to just let them continue doing illegal things like camping out in public spaces that are not campgrounds. I will continue to lodge complaints because the last thing I want to do is stand idly by and watch this great park become the next encampment.

Loaded waffle fries generator is so loud that I can hardly hear the person sitting next to me. No other food truck has a generator this loud. Ruining the atmosphere for everyone. They should be parked far away from where the tables are located if they can’t reduce the noise.

Right here on the trail parallel to Sare Rd is always flooded because there’s a drain going down to the creek. Can someone please come put a drain underneath it so the trail isn’t always flooded and muddy? It’s a safety hazard since it’s constantly very slippery.

I am an elderly individual who relies on a cart to access the course. On multiple occasions, I—and others with mobility or disability-related needs—have been turned away when requesting a spectator cart at events held at Cascades Golf Course. Many of us travel significant distances to support our grandsons and granddaughters, only to arrive and be told that no carts are available, with little more than an apology offered. As a public, municipally operated facility, this raises serious concerns about access for individuals who cannot reasonably walk the course. If these issues are not addressed, I will be pursuing a formal complaint based on accessibility concerns and will be consulting with legal counsel regarding next steps. I would strongly encourage this matter to be reviewed and resolved promptly.
